Namsan Park, Shinsegae

Orh it's lazy Sunday again. Din feel like doing anything for the whole day, especially when tmr's the start of school again. I had been craving for Singaporean food since last night, and so I dragged Ziyi and Chee Keong to Namsan with me. I found some Malaysian blog that said that there was mee goreng and nasi goreng at Shinsegae Shopping Centre, and apparently they have sambal chilli, so I knew I had to go there and satisfy my thirst (or hunger) for some local food.

Before going to Shinsegae, we went over to Namsan Park first. It's some kinda park, but cause it is still winter, there's nothing much to see, except barren trees and yellow grass. But we do see the potential though; it's probably super nice during spring and summer.

The following shot is so k-drama! There's actually a gal practising violin in the park! And I thought such scenes can only be seen in dramas. If someone does this in Singapore, comfirm either kena weird stares or complaints.

Shinsegae Shopping Centre is some huge shopping centre in Hoehyeon. It has like 14 floors of shopping, and 7 underground floors of, yes, shopping again. It's freaking huge! In comparison, Suntec City probably has like 6 floors, I think. The shopping malls here are damn high; all having at least 8 storeys of shopping. Shinsegae is targeted towards the middle-higher income bracket. The stuff here are all Takashimaya-standard, with branded stores everywhere. Coach, Ralph Lauren, LV, Prada can probably all be found here. I was looking at some Adidas jacket and it actually costs $300 over! It's that expensive.

We found the mee goreng and nasi goreng at the food court. The food court is really cool; all the dishes are displayed at the store, as seen below, and they are all mega-sized. People are supposed to look at the dishes and go to a centralised cashier to place their order, hence none of the cooks will have to handle money.

We didn't get to eat nasi goreng in the end, cause it was $7.50 for a plate, which is totally not worth the price.
